    So Sweet!

I am loving this Sweet with Heat series! These sweets reads are so refreshing to read after some not so sweet books. Jennifer brings the sweet to this book! While at times she seems very naive, I found it great that she was so aware of it herself and she was trying to learn and experience new things. Jamie while having more life experience was naive in some ways as well, and maybe a bit too trusting. I think it was amazing that a man his age was so determined to spend positive time with his grandmother. Jamie and Jennifer seems to fit together so well. Jennifer was really lucky that phone hit Jamie and not a different man, since most would have taken advantage of her naivety. Of course, like every great romance there has to be a few misunderstandings, and while I wasn't happy with how they handled them, they redeemed themselves quickly. I am so read for the next book in this series, bring on the Secrets! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. #MSBB

    Very romantic and sweet!!

This was such a cute, heart warming book. It was very romantic. But if your looking for steamy sex scenes, look somewhere else. There's no explicit sex scenes or harsh language. Not that it wasn't passionate and you didn't get wrapped up in the romance, because you really did. Jamie and Jessica were both really great characters and I really loved reading about them falling in love. There were lots of swoon worthy moments. The side characters were all awesome. I loved everyone of them!! I was excited to find out that this is the fourth book in a series called Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers Series. And the other books deal with the different characters in the book!! I need to read them all!! The first book in the series is free to download on Amazon!! :)

    A cute and swoony romance!

Sunsets at Seaside was a cute and swoony romance. I thought the setting was quite superb. I could really see the cottages nestled in between Cape Cod Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. It was a nice setting for a summertime romance. Jessica Ayers as a character was just a sweet little thing with her naivety and eagerness to discover herself, I enjoyed her immensely. Jamie Reed is funny, charming, and the relationship he has with his grandmother makes my heart throb. The relationship between Jamie and Jessica has an intense attraction factor but the romance element is definitely there. Jamie was very attracted to Jessica but he also wanted to get to know her, to understand her, to make a connection with her. Her innocence and quick wit was something he found to be very attractive. Plus, she didn’t seem to be attracted to him for his money, in fact it appeared that she had no idea of who he was. Jessica had very little experience with men and her first introduction to Jamie was not the most conducive to a romance. She never thought that he would want to have anything to do with her but when he showed interest she was floored, terrified, and thrilled. I personally liked that Jessica was a cellist and had a career that she was passionate about. I really felt the passion that this character had for playing her cello and I do wish that there had been more scenes where she played her cello. I wanted to get lost in the music with her. Jaime was a techie who owned his own business and was actually a very famous and very, very, rich person. He was used to everyone knowing who he was and women wanting him for what he had, not who he was. It was this history with women which actually added the conflict to this story. I loved the supporting characters in this story. They all added their own flavor to the storyline and really gave the story depth. I liked how Jessica developed relationships with the other females at the cottages, their rapport was just hilarious! All the women in this story were unique but together they were snarky, sassy, and a positive influence on Jessica. They showed her what she was missing out on all those years that she had dedicated herself to her career and I appreciated that element of the story. Sunsets at Seaside was indeed a romance story between the main characters but it also had other elements that elevated it to something more. It showcased several different types of relationships that were woven throughout this story and I loved that. Some relationships were not perfect but they worked. I especially enjoyed the conflict between Jamie and his best friend. It created great tension but did not run the course that I had anticipated. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and recommend to all romance readers. This review is based on a complimentary book I received from Lola's Blog Tours. It is an honest and voluntary review. The complimentary receipt of it in no way affected my review or rating.
