    Good Fun

Lucy Goodwin and her brother breed thoroughbred horses. Unfortunately Lucian has just been in a terrible accident and Lucy is stuck being unable to conduct business just because she is female. When the pressure builds up she needs to make some difficult decisions. Lord Philip Lyton, Marquess of Chalifour is looking forward to making a partnership with the renowned jockey and horse breeder. With his own blooded mares and the jockey's stallions they can breed the very best. He is however finding it difficult to talk to the man, something isn't right. A fascinating look at the troubles that women of that era faced. Even at the end our heroine is not vindicated. Lots of good fun and mischief as well as the emotional moments and worries. Lovely and somewhat unusual characters. Very different to the normal romances set in this era. I loved it.
