  • Cops & Donuts in a cozy mystery

A cozy featuring cops and a donut shop - what a can possibly be sweeter. Cop widow Emily Westhill & her father-in-law Tom own & operate Deputy Donut. Her cat Dep is her constant companion, even at work. When Knitpicker Georgia Treetor is murdered, Emily is asked by the other knitters to help & protect Georgia's friend Lois Unterlaw. The plot has many twists and turns when all suspicion shifts to Lois' grand nephew Randy. Emily finds herself alone with a murderer and relies on things her husband Alex taught her during their four year marriage and her 9-1-1 operator training. Interesting characters in this town & a touch of romance may be in store for Emily. The author did a good job of introducing enough characters to be able to provide background on some but not overwhelming us with everyone in town at once.
