  • A fantastic cookbook/romance

This was a combination cookbook packed with delicious and easy recipes entwined with a sweet romantic novella. The romance was a perfect match for the cookbook – what better than a romance between two chefs – Ana Raquel Hopkins & Greg Clary while they plan, assemble and try recipes for a Fool’s Gold cookbook. In the cookbook, there were some easy and simple recipes along with some photos of some of the delicious dishes. The recipes were organized by seasons. The only thing I would have like to see is the nutritional facts of each recipe. I can’t wait to try some of these delicious recipes - The Christmas Morning Chocolate Swirl Buns; Birthday Party Banana Layer Cake; Liz’s Girl Spaghetti; Ethan’s Favorite Macaroni & Cheese with Toasted Garlic Bread Crumbs; Tarragon Tuna Melt; Chicken with Mushrooms and White Wine; Come for Tea Cucumber Salad; Tomato Salad with Molasses Vinaigrette; and Roasted Tomato Soup. Greg owns and operates a restaurant in one of the Fool's Gold wineries. Ana and Greg have known each other since elementary school and Ana always came in second to him in everything she tried. To her this seemed like a really bad idea but it wasn’t...

  • Enjoyed The Fool's Gold Cookbook.

I enjoy all of Susan Mallery's books. I have read the whole Fool's Gold series, and I had the cookbook, but I thought it was just a cookbook, and was happy reading it and remembering all the great characters that she brings into her stories.
