    Another win

It's Christmas in Sinful, LA. And nothing ever goes according to plans in Sinful. Even the Christmas play. When Longtime Santa portrayer Ronnie Long is found in his chair waiting to talk to the kids, passed out. Fortune assumes he's drunk. They quickly realize that he's not drunk but dead. Things are never simple in Sinful. Dead Santa is not Ronnie Long, but an unknown man who had assaulted Ronnie in order to take his place as Santa. As Fortune and the girls look into the cause of the wrong Santa, They discover that someone in Sinful may be in danger, and what's worse is that that someone may be a child. Through the course of the investigation, they learn of dirty lawyers, unscrupulous PI's, and the tale of a man with high political dreams. There's also a major surprise for Fortune at the end of the book. Now I just have to wait until the next one to find out what's going to happen!

    Fun LA backwater mystery

I’m actually from a small LA town and recognize the colorful fixtures found in every town. Laughed all the way through. I actually have Hebert kin—they’re Cajun French, none ever saw an Italian village.

    Swamp Santa

Always enjoy Fortune & her posse. Funny feel good plus good plot books are hard to find. Have read all the books in the Miss Fortune series & have never been disapointed.

    Fun read!

After Santa is discovered dead at a family holiday event, Carter heads off to investigate. Fortune is then hired by Big and Little to find out what happened, as they have their own interests in the case. This leads to some tension between Fortune and Carter, but I feel like that will always happen when they're both trying to solve the same cases! This was another fun Fortune read! This series is full of fun characters, who rarely fail to make me laugh with their antics. Bring on the next one in 2020!

    Wonderful Cozy Mystery

Delightful, fun and funny. A more complex mystery in this book and I loved every minute of it. I love this series so much! Again, this book is more focused on solving the mystery and the threesome's hilarious adventures as they solve it. A very enjoyable book!
