  • Another win

It's Christmas in Sinful, LA. And nothing ever goes according to plans in Sinful. Even the Christmas play. When Longtime Santa portrayer Ronnie Long is found in his chair waiting to talk to the kids, passed out. Fortune assumes he's drunk. They quickly realize that he's not drunk but dead. Things are never simple in Sinful. Dead Santa is not Ronnie Long, but an unknown man who had assaulted Ronnie in order to take his place as Santa. As Fortune and the girls look into the cause of the wrong Santa, They discover that someone in Sinful may be in danger, and what's worse is that that someone may be a child. Through the course of the investigation, they learn of dirty lawyers, unscrupulous PI's, and the tale of a man with high political dreams. There's also a major surprise for Fortune at the end of the book. Now I just have to wait until the next one to find out what's going to happen!

  • Swamp Santa

The Christmas pagent was awsome only to be outdone by the caroling. Jana has a wicked sense of humour. Keep it up. The best book in the series. I am pleased to call her an associate.

  • Fits the story

Loved it. Hard subject to make funny but you nailed it. But dang that’s a shocker of an ending.

  • Fun LA backwater mystery

I’m actually from a small LA town and recognize the colorful fixtures found in every town. Laughed all the way through. I actually have Hebert kin—they’re Cajun French, none ever saw an Italian village.

  • It’s definitely A Swamp Santa

I thought I knew the outcome early in, but there were a few unexpected twists that proved me wrong. A fun, humerus read that will keep you reeled in from start to finish
