    Thanks for your feedback!

Jumps are confusing but the prose is pro

This was my third foray into Zadie Smith's work, and she continues to deliver on presenting real life in a real and beautiful way. She uses words and presents insights that catch me off-guard. Her characters are very human. They are flawed and conflicted and they see that. Personally, I have a hard time reading narratives that jump settings from chapter to chapter, so this book spanning three continents and three times in the narrator's life made picking up this book after putting it down the day before a bit of a journey for me. Highly recommended for dancers or musical theatre fans. Not so recommended for my sister.
