Great series. Hard to put down!

After the first two books in this trilogy, getting to read the final book to this trilogy was exciting and satisfying. You are taken on a journey in a magical world with characters that you've come to like and the ending is not disappointed. However, I cannot put 5 stars because I don't like the 1st part of the book, it is a little dragging & boring.

    ❤️ Loved this series

Sworn is basically a love story with all the trimmings. Fantasy style! A tale of dragons, flying horses, potions and kings. One wonders if this will end like a fairytale. I constantly wondered if it would have the traditional fairytale ending the entire time I read it. Rowan and Aren remain key characters in this drama as the story begins to unfold. Relationships are tested and often one wonders if love will prevail. Nox and Ulric's characters are built upon from the previous book. I enjoyed learning more about Kel. I would have loved to have met him. The pace moves slowly at times and then livens up. It does help having read the two previous books in the series as it gives Sworn more depth and history but is not entirely necessary. The story came with highs and lows and not necessarily in that order! The promise of hope and possibility but the enormity of loss too. There is a certain amount of closure in reading this book for fans of Kate Sparks.
