    Crash

This is book #2, in the Men Of Tyee series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding of the series, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order. Alisa has been in love with Gage since the day they met. The attraction was instant, and the heat between them literally melts all who witness. Her future may not include him, however, since she just found out she will be leaving the country. Gage has had a hard time recently. He was on the fast track to be recruited, when an accident left him with nerves that are not working toward his goal. His one good thing in life was Alisa, and she seems so distant. This story moves along at a rapid pace. There is so much going on. The heat between the two principles is very steamy and comes quickly off the page. I love that no matter what they are gravitating toward on another. I cannot wait to read the next installment in this new Men Of Tyee series. ***This ARC copy was provided in exchange for an honest review only.

    Another winner for Jami Davenport!

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Tackled In Seattle, the second book in the Rookies Men of Tyee series was definitely a good one. While this is part of a series, you can definitely read it as a standalone and not have any issues at all. Gage was the starting quarterback until a broken leg sidelined him and now his backup has taken his job. He's always been one that keeps things to himself, especially information about his personal life. No one asks, so he doesn't offer. He's always dreamed of making it to the NFL, but now that he's not playing, he's unsure if he'll be able to make that dream a reality and to compound problems, he's not going to graduate either, so he's got to figure out where his life is heading. Alisa has recently learned that she is a real life princess. It wasn't until her stepfather passed away that her Mom shared with her who her biological father was. To learn that she is the daughter of one of England's royal family members has been quite an adjustment and the real changes are forthcoming. Gage and Alisa had been together the previous school year and it was mostly a physical relationship. After Gage broke his leg, he pushed her away so he didn't have to reveal the truth about his upbringing and the fact he wasn't as affluent as everyone thought he was. When they see one another again at school, the chemistry between them has not diminished at all, but they feel they can't be together. Will they really be able to stay away from one another? And even when Alisa has to leave the country, is this really the end for them? This couple sees many highs and lows, but in the end all of the things they go through help to make them stronger. I really enjoyed how all of it played out and evolved over the course of the book. It was entertaining and one that I would recommend.

    A terrific read!

A fun sports story with a different twist. Gage and Alisa are college students who come from different back grounds. A few years back they got to make out regularly but were not interested in getting into a relationship but after meeting up again, Gage realizes he really does love Alisa and would like to try for a real relationship with her. But there is one small thing holding them both back, their identities. Gage is a farmers son, they didn’t have a lot growing up, and unfortunately he won’t be graduating, and Alisa has just found out she is a Princess, a true blood line and will have responsibilities. Tackled in Seattle is a captivating tale with intriguing twists and a heartwarming love story. Gage and Alisa were a great couple, their chemistry was phenomenal. A very entertaining story a great addition to the series. A definite must read!
