  • Frustrating heroine...hero great!

I know in these time travel romances or novels there's a desire to show how modern the heroine is. However authors please don't go overboard. You risk making the heroines so unlikeable it's hard to root for her. I've seen this with the Outlander series....Claire is borderline and her daughter Brianna is not a empathetic character at all. In Outlander its Jaime that makes me stick around and its Laird here. These heroines have to give a little sooner and not treat the times they're thrust in with such disdain. Hugh was the time traveler in your 2nd book in the series and he was much more understanding. Just my 2 cents...

  • Taken

I really loved this book. It was very easy to read. In some places it was hard not to get a little teary eyed. Willl have to read the next one.

  • A laird for all time

Love the story of Scarlett and James with their mix of modern celebrity traveling back in time go the 15th century . And the hot Scottish laird that she fights against all the way till she experiences their first kiss. Then its fireworks every time they touch. The family friends she gets to have with his sisters and brother . Rhys loves to provoke Laird but with Scarletts help manages to save all of the brothers from falling at Flooden Field along with their King and half of the Scottish nobility. My what a way to fall in love..

  • Good read

Good book .I would love this story to continue. Maybe Emmy and Connor would enter Scarlett and James life.

  • Lard of time.

Love, loved this book. Couldn't put it down. So romantic, funny, exciting. Can't wait to read more of the authors books. Loved that when I'm reading a book i can visualize everything like watching a movie.
