  • It's the end of the Hot Jocks!

How? How is this the end of the Hot Jocks?! I knew it was book 7 but it still makes me sad. I've grown with these guys! Not really but I have gotten wrapped up into their lives. Harper doesn't date players, period. She's met enough of them over her lifetime that she is not going to be some puck bunny nor a notch on a goal. And really, who could blame her? So she meets Jordie ready to reject his advances. He's too hot, too cocky and just too there. Jordie isn't like the other Hot Jocks. I love them all but he's definitely different - except for being a bit of a bonehead. He knew immediately that he wanted to invest the effort into getting to know Harper, he just needed to break down her walls or at least crack them. I'm sad but so happy for each of these couples who I'm sure I will read again!

  • Taking His Shot breathes fire.

Forget sparks, Taking His Shot breathes fire. The master of foreplay is back to make hearts swoon and kick hormones into overdrive. Ryan continues to spice it up with her signature style of heat, emotions and humor to even out some of the heartache. Jodie and Harper make it hard to say goodbye, but remind me why I fell head over heart for these Hot Jocks along the way.

  • Fantastic finish to this series!

Taking His Shot is the final book in the Hot Jocks and Kendall Ryan saved one of the best for last. Harper Allen loves her father and she begrudgingly agrees to fill in for the sick princess at the charity event for the Ice Hawks. She's much more comfortable writing and staying out of anything that has to do with hockey. It's dominated her life since her father has been in coaching for her entire life. She decided long ago that she would never date a hockey player. She didn't want to have to compete with the game. Jordan "Jordie" Prescott plays for the Ice Hawks and is one of the only unattached players remaining. He decides to bid on the date with the princess at the charity event and when he wins, his teammates decide to put a wager on whether or not he can get the woman to fall for him within a month. Jordie being Jordie takes the bet, but then he discovers who his date is actually with and that could cause all sorts of problems! Harper wants nothing to do with the date that Jordie has paid for. He's a hockey player and to her that is the end of the story. He finally wears her down and they have their date. Will there be others in the future or will her past with hockey put an end to what could be something great before it really gets started? This was a fantastic way to end the series. We got a glimpse of all the other couples from the previous books along with the swoonworthy-ness that was Jordie. I loved that he went after what he wanted and that he was willing to fight for it. Harper was a great heroine as well. She had her hang-ups, but she grew as the book went along and I really enjoyed that. This was a winner in my book!

  • Loved the characters individ. and together

This was the last of the series and I was so sad to see it end, but this one wrapped everything up terrifically. Jordie may be the rookie and the youngest, and he may have acted like it at the beginning. But in this book he showed a whole other side to him I completely fell in love with him. I also really loved the sassy heroine we meet, Harper. She doesn't let anyone stop her, except herself sometimes. The storyline was great and flowed with such ease. I really loved their communication with each other. And the epilogue wraps up all other characters and books nicely. Definitely going to miss this series.

  • Great End to an Amazing Series!

Another amazing book by Kendall Ryan! This is the last book in the Hot Jocks series and what a way to end it! I really enjoyed Jordie and Harper’s story. Jordie is sexy, cocky and knows he can get whatever he wants. Harper has one rule- no dating hockey players. This story is full of banter, laughs, steamy scenes and it’s emotional. I loved everything about this book and I’m so glad Jordie got his story out! I also enjoyed seeing the rest of the crew. 5 Stars!
