    Second guessing...

Well this is definitely an easy to read novel. It's not my first from this author however the characters aren't my favorite. Conleigh is in school to be a nurse practitioner. Linc is a professional quarterback but, is also a part of the MC that Conleigh grew up in. What I didn't like was how these characters don't really fit together. They have certain things they do, that have you second guessing their actions are genuine for each other. All in all it's another great MC storyline but needs more chemistry.

    Good with hints of more

Loved the book!! The teasers for the next book and all the different hints of the books to come! Love that Lani teases some of the stories to come in the early books of a new series!

I cannot wait for more books in this series

Talkin trash is book two bear bottom guardian’s series. I have been eager for Linc’s story since he was featured in his father, Jessie’s story. I was eager to start this story but I was wary. Why was I wary? Because book one in this series had me ugly crying and I was a little apprehensive about not knowing how this book would effect my emotions. This story did bring out emotions but different to how the first story did. I liked that Linc and Conleigh have history. This story is kind of a second chance romance for them. Linc walked away and although it was sad that Conleigh was hurt by it, he did the right thing. Things were completely different for them the second time around. They both were where they wanted to be. Linc had his football career and Conleigh had her nursing career. The chemistry between Conleigh and Linc is through the roof. I love them as a couple and I love how sassy Conleigh is. She certainly doesn’t let Linc walk all over her. I really disliked Tyson. I wanted him to leave Conleigh and the MC alone. That being said, I liked that he didn’t appear for too long. Just enough to add an edge of danger to the story. Without giving too much away, I really liked the scene between Hoax and Conleigh. I loved that Conleigh was the one that stopped and discovered it. I thought the snake bit was hilarious. I really hope Hoax’s story is next or soon because I want more of him. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

    Amazing! Just amazing!

I was a little hesitant before I began this book, because the previous book ripped my heart out (it was an amazing book, that eventually put me back together, but still.....) But I knew who the story was about, and couldn't wait to read it. So, cautiously, I got started. Conleigh was an angry youth, who had been let down too many times, seen her mother go through too many hurts and trials. But when she met Linc at 16, she knew right from the beginning that he was it, the only one for her. Linc knew too, but he was too old for her then. One thing, and then another kept them apart, until he just couldn't stay away any more. And then, when it looks like they are going to find their happy ever after, it all fell apart. Con and Linc's story is one of enduring love. Even when they weren't together, their love was still constant. We saw hints of possibilities in Big Poppa's story, and I just knew theirs was going to be amazing. Their story was beautiful, and one that I will definitely be reading again! I'm loving this series, and catching up with the kids from previous series!
