Insiteful Look At A Current Problem

This is my first Malcolm Gladwell book and I found it to be a fascinating read. He looks at the topic of miscommunication in a very interesting way, with excellent examples and examples. Because his examples are broad Mr. Gladwell includes a lot of notes to take you deeper into the examples. He tries to keep his personal opinion out of this in favour of being objective. I look forward to reading more of his work.

    Excellent

Once again Mr. Gladwell, your writing continues to inform and open minds to the possibilities beyond what we assume we see. Thank you. I am often frustrated by the lack of justice for those who make it into your books. You identify the plight of humans (individuals). It would be incredible if your work actually improves things in our world. I continue to live in hope.

    Awesome eye opening

This was a wonderful easy reading thought provoking book. It gives a strong glimpse into how difficult it is to understand other people and be understood and the dangers that result from that misunderstanding.

    Talking to Strangers

Another very good book by Malcolm Gladwell. Well researched and presented in a readable manner, avoiding the temptation of simplifying everything to a single view or sound bite.

    Fascinating and Factual

Very insightful into human behaviour and misunderstandings that can impact us as individuals and as societies. Gladwell gives us much to think about but does not give us instructions on how to proceed. There are no easy instructions for any situation, location or person. We default to truth and that makes us vulnerable at times, sometimes devastatingly so, but it also makes us kind and human. Such a good read based on interesting and diverse research. Gladwell ties it all together in a perfect package.
