    More Whiskey

I have loved this series and of course Dixie's BBBs(big biker brothers), but I have waited for Dixie's story and I am so glad she got it. I was a bit disappointed in Jace to begin with because he didn't really live up to what we expect of a Foster man. I should have known Ms. Foster would never let Jace be anything less than perfect for Dixie, even if it did take a while to get there. I am so glad that Dixie finally got her hea. I loved getting to catch with the whole Whiskey family(plus some) again. Books in the series as well as many others by Ms. Foster can be read as a standalone. The great thing is that when you read the whole series each book is like catching up with old friends. I can't wait for more!

    So good

5 Star Review of Taming My Whiskey (The Whiskeys: The Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbour #6) by Melissa Foster I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Taming My Whiskey can be read as a stand alone, although honestly if you have the time I would read them all. I think you will find this a highly addictive series to read, I know I did. This was an emotional and hot story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter. I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour. I have been waiting for Dixie Whiskey to get her story; I knew that it would be worth waiting for and I was right. I also knew that the man who would win Dixie’s heart would need to be someone truly special and that is most certainly Jace Stone As I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written and an absolute pleasure to read. Jace Stone is a total alpha male who ticked all the boxes for me and Dixie is perfect for him. I love her feisty spirit, her unbridled passion for life and her love of family. Although Jace is determined not to settle down he cannot deny his feelings for Dixie whilst she is equally determined that she will not come second to anyone or anything. The passion and love between Dixie and Jace is intense, the air crackles when they are together but can two total Alpha’s come together as equals or will they tear each other apart?

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!!

If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would! I've loved the Whiskeys right from the beginning. True Blue captured my heart, and the Whiskeys held it close. I knew it would take someone special to hold on to Dixie, someone as strong as she, someone who held family in as much importance as she. And boy, this author had someone special waiting for Dixie! Dixie is the princess of the Dark Knights, and she is surrounded by over protective brothers. She has grown up having to be strong enough to stand her ground, and stand up to those same boys! She has watched her brothers fall in love, and wants that special connection that they have, but knows her own worth, knows that she deserves to wait for the one that will love her, be there for her. Jace is tough on the outside, all business, but he is soft on the inside. He's been hurt before, and has made his life all about work. He doesn't think he wants, or can have, roots. He lives a nomad's lifestyle, constantly traveling, moving from place to place, for his business empire. But Dixie touches something inside him, something in his soul. He just has to let go of that iron control long enough to realize that he, too, deserves that connection and love that Dixie is looking for. Jace and Dixie......their story was beautiful, but also heart wrenching. The anguish, heart ache, and misery these two went through to get to their HEA was powerful. I loved how strong Dixie was, despite the hurt she was dealing with. I love that she knew her worth, and held out for what she deserved. I love how Jace adored Dixie, even when he was convinced he didn't deserve her. These two had obstacles to overcome, and the author had surprises in store for us (!), but in the end, love and family is all that matters! I've enjoyed the Whiskeys, and their stories will always be among my favorites. I'm looking forward to seeing what this author comes up with next!

    Love The Whiskeys

The life of the Dark Knights princess is no easy task when you want to live life on your own terms. Dixie is set to prove to everyone that she isn’t a little girl anymore and is tired of living under the watchful eye of her brothers and the rest of the Dark Knights. There is only one man that she wants and has wanted for many years. Jace is married to his work and is set to have Dixie as the face of Silver-Stone Motorcycles and will stop at nothing to get her to agree. Even standing up to her burliest of brothers, Bullet. When Dixie agrees to be the face of Silver-Stone Motorcycles, she hopes this is her chance to get Jace to see her. Jace has liked Dixie for just as long as Dixie has liked him but can his feelings for her outweigh his work commitments and fear of being hurt again. OMG! Melissa Foster has done it again and completely renewed my love for The Whiskeys. Dixie and Jace’s novel is steamy and lets you see into the life of Dixie Whiskey and who she really is. It was also great to catch up with the rest of the Whiskey clan. I laughed and even cried both sad and happy tears while reading this novel. Taming My Whiskey is the fifth book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series by Melissa Foster. Taming My Whiskey is the sixth novel in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series which can be read as a standalone or read in series order and is written in third person point of view. I gave Taming My Whiskey 5 maple stars and recommend this and all the Whiskey novels.

Story of family, love and strength

Oh Dixie, I always knew you were a strong woman. I never dreamed you’d be this much fun to see fall in love. When Dixie fell, she fell. There is no halfway with this lady. She dove in headfirst and never looked back. Okay, yes, she fell when she was 18 and didn’t understand what it all meant but she set her eyes on Jace never wavering from her decision. I love that she didn’t make it easy on Jace. She made him work for it, let her heart get broken, but never closed it off to the happiness that she knew she deserved. Jace, I thought you were going to lose her a time or two. Jace made stupid mistakes that only a man who was head over heals in love would make. He learned quickly, although not quick enough for Dixie, and made his amends in grand ways. He loved, learned from his mistakes, and worshipped Dixie as she deserves. Jace is the biggest alpha male and the only one who could stand by Dixie’s side. Taming My Whiskey is amazing. It is a story of family, love, and strength. The strong female lead character is what I expected of a Whiskey and Jace is the perfect husband for her. Melissa Foster did an amazing job of updating the readers on the rest of the Whiskey Family while not letting them overshadow Dixie and her story.
