  • This Book is a Delight for Adults, Too

Even though I am not the target audience, I enjoyed this book. The characters were likable, the tone was light, the story was engaging, and the humor made me smile. I appreciated that the author avoided the orphan trope, and gave Tamora a supportive family. Watching them interact in a positive way was a treat. This is one of the few books I’ve read in which a prominent character (her brother) was on the autism spectrum, and showed his coping mechanisms. I hope there will be more adventures with Tamora and her family and friends, as well as the dragon, the goblins, and the pix.

    Thanks for your feedback!
