    Tangled Up In Christmas

All the feels and so much more are in this one. Even if you didn't read the first Texas Heat book you will not be lost with this one and I recommend you read it NOW! Hannah has returned to Texas and immediately upon arrival at the airport she runs into her ex-fiance. Roarke. Not long after, Hannah fills in for her friend at a photo shoot and runs into him again along with Jason (from book 1) and Jessica who hire her for event planning the Christmas Festival in Sweetwater. Oh, to go back home where it all began and all fell apart. So many tangled lies woven to separate them but Roarke still loves Hannah and Hannah never stopped loving Roarke even though she was hurt and ran. Now after a hot night before returning home, can they find their way back to each other without hurting each more? So, so good! This one can be read as a standalone but I really recommend both books! **Received this ARC for review from the publisher via NetGalley**

    Loved it!!

This is the second book in the Texas Heat Series. I thought it was really good read. I truly enjoyed the characters Roarke and Hannah. It is well written and a good storyline. It easy to read and the characters have chemistry.. I read and reviewed an Advanced Copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are of my own. Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for letting me read this story.

    Trust

This is book #2, in the Texas Heat series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading these in order intended by the author. Hannah returns to her hometown in this story about the holidays and second chances. She has to meet up with an Ex-fiance' and others who watched her grow up. It is a little bit of eating humble pie, and a lot of resisting the charms of the only man she has ever loved. Roarke wants the woman he loves back. Theirs is a story that puts the word complicated to shame. She thinks he cheated on him, and he was only a victim of someone else's plot. Can he win her back on the merits of the fact they know one another like no other? This story was challenging and pulls on the heart strings. Seeing a couple still so much in love be apart and still get through the day is hard. Told in a way that it just makes you appreciate romance books - this is a book that will take your heart and help it fly. I found the characters to be deep and compelling and I cannot wait for another installment of this series. ***This ARC copy was given by Netgalley and its publishers, in exchange for an honest review only.

The Holidays are a perfect time for second chances

If you have read THE TRUTH ABOUT COWBOYS then you know Roarke, he is the Vet in the town of Sweetwater and best friend to Jason, this is his story. I was really looking forward to reading about Roarke and learning more about this brooding cowboy because we all know that someone broke his heart at some point we just didn't know who or how, well we get all the answers we were looking for in this book. Hannah is returning to Texas after working in California for a few years, her boss got caught up in the #MeToo movement and she was blacklisted along with him because of her association to him...I will admit, this didn't sit right with me but I guess it was a good excuse for her to return home, anyway, she is starting her own business as an Event Planner and her first major event is going to land her right smack into the person she was hoping to avoid at all costs, Roarke. So that's the basis around the story now here's my dilemma, I liked the book I really did I just didn't love it so do I rate it as three or four stars? Well I went with three and this is why: Was the chemistry there? Yes absolutely but..... Did they work things out before jumping into bed? NO absolutely not and I think this is where I have my biggest issue. I get the not wanting to keep your hands off one another but there was a big reason as to why you broke up in the first place so the trust is gone and before you have any discussion about it you're fooling around, to me that was just rushed and unnecessary we knew they still cared very deeply for one another so them having sex so quickly to me minimized the reasoning on why they were apart for so long. Were they keeping Secrets? Of Course there were secrets, some were big and some not so big but a complete shocker none the less. I understand the reasoning behind one but not the other so there's that. And then there's Hannah's family, for me their story line gave me whiplash, when you read the book you'll understand why. I recommend this book for lovers of Cowboy/Western Romances, Second Chance Romances, and lovers of Lisa Renee Jones' books. This book is highly rated by other advanced readers and like I said I did enjoy it so I really hope you do grab a copy and give Hannah and Roarke's Christmas Love Story a chance. Happy Reading!!!

    Delicious, 2nd chance...

What a delicious, angsty, 2nd chance romance for Hannah and Roark. I loved everything about this book and all of the emotions it brought...anger, sadness, heart ache, explosive chemistry, a love that could not be denied and the truth for all of that pain. Lisa Renee Jones books always gets me right in the heart!!😍😍😍😍😍
