    Amazing Debut!

What Worked For Me: So….the breakout new author duo known as Max Monroe remains a mystery, however the sheer brilliance and joviality of their debut book, Tapping the Billionaire does not. It is, simply put, a fun and well written laugh-out-loud erotic romantic comedy that will make you break out in feel good goose bumps all over your body. Kline Brooks is our billionaire. And please, get the pre-conceived notions out of your head because he breaks the mold. There is no one else out there like him. I ADORE this man. He has no hang-ups, no deep dark secrets, no issues that we need to get past….he’s just good, fun and has a wickedly dirty mouth (and he knows how to use it very well). Our heroine, and his lady-love, Georgie, is hilarious. She is charming and sassy and quirky but very smart and kind. She has an adventurous spirt and is the perfect match for Kline. What a shame these two wasted two years working together, never even realizing that the other half of their soul was working in the same building. Thank goodness for meddling mothers. What is so refreshing about this book is, as I mentioned, that there is absolutely zero angst in this story. The hero and heroine don’t have traumatic childhoods, commitment issues, dark and twisty personality issues, or other things you see creep up in other billionaire romances that can take away from the pleasure of reading those. The whole experience of this book was complete exhilaration, filled will humor and witty banter combined with moments of pure eroticism that are so titillating that your breath is literally taken away. The exemplary cast of secondary characters….I can’t remember the last time a book was so perfectly cast. Both Georgie’s and Kline’s family are a scream! I could not stop laughing!!!! I am especially in love with Georgie’s mom and dad. Georgie’s roommate and Kline’s best friends are equally entertaining and I can’t wait for their stories to be told. The plot is genius and original and moves along at a brisk pace that keeps you engaged. If you work in an office setting, heads up! There are quite a few office “issues” addressed in here that had me rolling around on the floor in hysterics (without spoiling it too much but giving you a hint, one in particular, who hasn’t had some type of issue in the breakroom while at work). Really….ROLL. ON. THE. FLOOR. LAUGHING. I have read and reviewed many books this year that have given me hours of reading enjoyment but I can honestly say that Tapping the Billionaire will go down as one of my top 5 reads of 2016, no matter what else is released this year. The writing duo of Max Monroe is without a doubt a rising star and one that will go on my auto buy list! What Didn’t Work For Me: Everything works flawlessly! Would I Recommend This Book: Absolutely! Especially to my friends who love erotic romantic comedies with swoon worthy silver-tongued heroes and sassy fun-loving heroines! Final Star Rating: 5 stars….but even those don’t do it justice!

    Loved it!

Ok, so i really liked this story. The characters were awesome and the dialogue was funny. I was a bit worried in the beginning when it turned out that she was a 26 yo virgin bc i hate the whole virgin trope so often used in romances where virginity equates to being a good person in some weird slut shaming way. But instead she comes across as a whole person with a healthy sexual life. At times the heroes progressive feminist dialogue, though awesome, seemed too perfect and I would be jolted out of the story, because no guy is that perfect. There was character and relationship building, the holy grail of romance, so often neglected for cheap thrills. Recommended! Plus, i loved all the swearing ;)

What a hilariously outrageously funtastic book! I devoured it page by page, startling random people around me when i literally laughed out loud. Even snorted...yes, i snaughtered. (Snorting laughter)!!! LOVED each character and their amazing contributions! Gotta get me some more of that!!

That is probably one of the best novels I've read. It's funny, it's cute, it's sexy and I fell in love with Kline and Georgia that their vowels made me cry. Just loved it. Can't wait to read more.
