    Librarian vs Predator?

At first I thought...is this guy a serial killer? He's a serial something... The tone of this book is dark bordering on psychotic. There is a surprise thrown in at the end that left me stunned. I don't know why, there were hints throughout the book that things were not as they seemed. Even the few paragraphs and the end of the book have you asking, 'Hmm...did he meet the one? Why would she warn her off?' I wish there was more on the background of Autumn. It seemed as if the author alluded that something in Autumn's past resulted in her reticence toward relationships with people but nothing was ever explained. I also wasn't crazy that so much time was spent on the book Lucas was writing. And the way HIS book ended really made me think it wouldn't take much for him to kill a woman just to see what it felt like. Have a feeling he would have liked it.

    Too bad

I would have given the book a five but i don't like books that leaves me hanging. There wasn't any indication that there's a sequel.
