    A captivating love story!

I have become repetitive with every review I write about this author but I love Devney Perry's stories. Each book is better than the last one and all together are some of my favorites! Tattered is the perfect small town romance with a second chance trope and a love that is quiet but intense. Logan lives and breathes his business and New York so he has no time for a Montana trip but his charitable foundation brings him there. When he stumbles into a bar , he doen't expect to find the girl he has never forgotten but also the biggest surprise of his life, a daughter he never knew about. Thea was just a young girl who struggled in New York when she had a one night stand with a sexy man in a suit. Now in Lark Cove she has found herself, a family and is raising a daughter that is her universe. When Logan comes into her life, she is equally scared and excited to find him again. I cannot tell you how much I loved this story and these characters. Logan and Thea have different backgrounds but it's admirable seeing putting away the obstacles so they can be together. There is so much respect between them and they are both understanding and appreciating of each others wants. I adore seeing couples that can communicate and despite having some troubles, there is not unnecessary drama. Thea is a woman that cannot trust easily because she has lived a lonely childhood but the people she puts in her heart are shown her whole devotion. She is a fantastic mom to a little girl that is wild and free and I liked that both her parents never smothered her unique attitude instead they embraced it. She is a little closed off but I liked her will to be happy first admirable. Logan is a sophisticated man with manners and an irresistible magnetism. I loved seeing him vulnerable towards his daughter and Thea despite being strong minded elsewhere. His love and attention is never questioned and he is a man that keeps his promises and makes everything better even when he makes mistakes. Their relationship is solid from the start and although they have to put away some significant differences , they are "it" for each other. They just have to meet in the middle so they can find their happily ever after. Devney Perry might be a relatively new author but she is like she has been writing forever. Her books always bring comfort to my heart and never leave my mind. Her books have captivated me completely and wholeheartedly and Tattered is another nice addition to her outstanding book collection.

    The Princess and the Frog

Wow! This book is truly the fairy tale! I loved it from start to finish! A one night stand in New York—flash forward six years later to Montana. Logan steps into a bar and rescues a frog only to come face to face with his daughter, Charlie; a daughter he did not know he had until that moment. Thea is the bartender that lights his fire. She is rags to his riches. Step into the Lark Cove Bar and you will never want to leave! 5 stars

    Beautiful Story

This story was so well written and absolutely perfect. The secret baby theme was handled so beautifully, with no fault to either Thea nor Logan. There was no hard feelings to get over, and that made it so wonderful to read. Both of these characters are strong, kind and thoughtful. Despite his wealth and power, Logan never came across as a jerk. He might have been a little arrogant in the beginning, but it only added to his charm. Thea was so down to earth, and I liked her determination for a better life. These two had instant chemistry from the start, and I loved that it hadn't changed when they reunited. I loved every part of this story, from start to finish, it held me captive.

Sweep you off your feet romance!

Once upon a time I stumbled upon the words of Devney Perry, but even so, no matter how unexpected it was, I stumbled. With each book written I devoured every one of them. Felt myself slipping until the only thing I had to hold on to was her words. Tattered wielded the same power over me. I didn't simply fall though. I crashed. I collided with the emotions this beautifully penned novel elicited within me! Thea Landry is a self-reliant, strong, and resilient single mom who's had to endure a rough upbringing, yet she's an extraordinary woman and life didn't destroy her, but it did make her who she is. A loving and caring person who knows that though the world isn't always kind, you should still be. Now, we are first introduced to one Logan Kendrick in my favorite Jamison Valley novel, The Clover Chapel and that's when we get our first look at the type of man he is and see that tiny flicker of selflessness in him. Fast forward to this novel and Logan is at first a little self-important, but the further we submerge ourselves we begin to fall for this lawyer's charms. Yes, he grew up wealthy and privileged, but at the same time he's thoughtful, has a heart of gold, and is a person who wants to do some good in the world. Devney has created two characters from completely different worlds who met during a chance encounter. One that resulted in the birth of their daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte, or Charlie her preferred name is a tomboy by nature and any dress, let alone a dress is the last thing she ever wants to put on. But Logan knows nothing about her until another chance encounter brings Thea back into his life. Their connection is instant as these two begin to not only navigate, but rearrange their two separate lives into one. But it's far more than a simple physical attraction. It's emotional, deep, and inescapable. It's three people discovering who they are together and I loved that Devney didn't put the blame of Logan not knowing about Charlie on either of the main characters. In fact, I loved that both Thea and Logan tried to find one another after the initial encounter. Much like the Jamison Valley series and The Birthday List, Devney Perry has once more composed a novel with a vivid, imaginative setting and supporting secondary characters that lay the foundation for her highly anticipated Lark Cove series. Tattered is a moving love story that fills you to the brim with warmth until you feel like you're about to burst, stirs your emotions until all you can do is gush and gush, but most of all it makes you feel like you're standing on the precipe about to nose dive off the deep end!! Gah! This, people, this is romance!! A slow-burning, second chance, sweep you off your feet romance! ***P.S. That Timid sneak peak at the end... Omg!!! Insert all the heart eyes right here! Hear me now, loud and clear this will be my favorite in the series!!

    Amazing!

Devney Perry has done it again! I wasn’t sure I could love a series more than The Jamison Valley series, but it happened! Tattered was phenomenal!! This is by far, the best book by Devney yet! I loved everything about it- the characters, the storyline, EVERYTHING! This book is definitely my favorite book of 2018. I love surprise baby books and this was by far the best one I’ve read yet. Devney has a way of storytelling that you’re completely captivated. I love all of her books and I cannot wait for Timid! 5 Phenomenal Stars!
