  • A banquet not easy to forget.

Faces and names are easy to forget, but it's the emotions felt that tend to linger our whole lives through. Foster has the presence of mind to haunt readers with unforgettable. Jock, Hadley and Daphne are a beautiful heartache. Tempted By Love is a dance of broken hearts, second chances and healing spirits that embeds itself deep within your soul. Out of a tragedy comes a chance to hope and a reason to dream. Feast your heart on a banquet that will not be easy to forget.

  • Loved it!

This book is the beginning of a new series. From the moment I picked it up I could not put it down. It drew me not only into the story line but into all the characters in the book. It is a book about two people who have both been horrifically hurt in the past and both are having a hard time over coming that. When you put Jock and Daphne together and then put her little girl Hadley in the mix magic happens. When that happens, you have an incredible read that will keep you up late into the night. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

  • Absolute romance

I love a small town romance and as always Melissa writes the Perfect combination of romance and laugh out loud moments. Jock is a tortured soul but Daphne and Hadley are his perfect remedy. You will laugh, you will cry you will fall in love with these three and the rest of the Steeles family.

  • "She looked at him like she cared."

Daphne thought Jock was handsome and thoughtful and was drawn to him from the moment she first saw him. She noticed everything about him and her heart skipped a beat when he was near. A romance was brewing between them but they were both afraid to love again. Jock wanted so badly to experience the love that resonated from Daphne and Hadley, but he was hesitant about getting too close to them. Jock needed Daphne and Hadley to warm his heart and open his eyes to a chance at love. It was so romantic that Jock felt Daphne was his angel sent from God to help him leave the darkness behind him. Little Hadley, with her precocious personality and bright smile, accepted Jock for the man he was and opened her arms to him unconditionally. She saw him as her hero even before her Mom did. There was an unexplainable bond between Jock and Daphne, as if a magnet was drawing them together. It was inevitable that they would begin to spend time with each other, sharing stories, laughing and falling in love. Jock was very caring and thoughtful when it came to Daphne and Hadley’s feelings. He knew Daphne’s favorite muffin and brought Hadley cute toys as a way to show how special he thought she was. Hadley adored him for some reason and he tried very hard to establish a connection with her. The scenes where they played with Hadley and fussed over her made me smile and pray that happiness would surround them. Jock knew that he wanted Daphne and Hadley in his life and I admired the strength he found to chase away his demons so he could be the man worthy of their love
