    Awesome

Love love love this book! I always come back to it when in the mood for a good read. Love James & Shiloh! That epilogue still gets me, even after multiple reads.

    James and Shiloh

Shiloh is someone that her brother didn't really want in his life. And James didn't need anything else to happen in his life. Not when he has so much piling-up on him already. Yet Shiloh is just wanting to be able say that her bothers and father do actually care. Others don't want them to be together, but they needed to see that what they were really needing was to not care what everyone else thought and live. Once they were able to finally see this things were finally able to come to light that helps them finally be happy. I loved the way that James loved his daughter and even did whatever he needed to do to make sure that she was safe. I could not get enough of them and wished that there was more to their story.

Glad to have found in Ms. Vale another gifted author whose storytelling and writing style I like!

This is the second time that I've read through the entire Free Birds series - which in itself shows how much I found the series an interesting and enjoyable read. I like in particular the epilogues which gives the reader a glimpse of what became of the characters. Ms. Vale, just to point out that there is an error in the last part re: Epilogue page 23 of 24 on my e-reader: "I was showing Shiloh more of Dougie" (something along this line) should read "I was showing Kayla more of Dougie" since James was talking to Shiloh about Kayla (re: bike ride with Kayla to visit her dad's grave after Kayla's high school graduation). By the way, it would be great to read sometime in the near future the individual stories of Kayla and the Free kids (Janie, Pru, Piper, etc.) - I'd love to know what they grew up to be! :-)
