  • Simply the best

The best series I have read since Kathy Reichs' Bones series ended. Thank you Louise Penny for these stories that keep me hooked all the way through. I love Three Pines.

  • Addicted

I have read the first 12 of the Gamache series of books written by Louise Penny. That may not seem like a big deal. But I read them in under three weeks. Could not put them down. I feel like I personally know all the characters. I want to stay at Gabri’s B&B and have lunch at Olivier’s bistro. I want Ruth to berate me; I want to watch Clara paint; I want to have tea with Myrna in her bookstore. And I want to walk with Armand and Reine-Marie and Henri. All of that is because Louise Penny has so richly described these characters that they feel real. While the murders that propel each story are fascinating, it’s the residents of Three Pines that keep me coming back for more.

    Thanks for your feedback!
