    This book will consume you!

Ok. First. I downloaded this 1st book in avoiding by linde awhile back. Sounded somewhat interesting. But something kept making me push it aside. I admit. I'm an author phobic. Meaning 1) it's hard to branch out. Why I don't know and 2) if I do branch out I have to binge read EVERYTHING the new author has ever written. Well. I stumbled on The Wright series and that was all she wrote. :) Now binge reading KA and Avoiding was where I went next. Where to start.... Do I recommend this book? Yes!! Wholeheartedly. What warnings would I want to read? Primarily it's a very slow burn in my opinion (which I don't normally like) and it is frustrating through most it. BUT... the characters, plot and writing style SUCK YOU IN! Pros: great development, unique storyline at least to me, connecting with characters and plot were great. No triggers regarding sexual abuse. Cons: every other chapter is a flashback (adds to the s l o w burn), no HEA (not even for now) but this is a pro too because man this series will rock! And literally cannot stand a couple characters. At all. Which again is kudos to author. I'm sure that was intentional. Plot: Flashback. Basically girl falls in love at first sight with a guy that literally never really appreciated her. He has serious decision making abilities. "The grass may be greener over there but wait it's green where I'm standing. But they have water over ther... SQUIRREL" I mean for real. Present day. Same guy calls same girl (6. Years. Later.) to help him talk his new girlfriend into the knowledge that he's not a player, indecisive, commitment-phobic douche canoe. Sounds fun right? Well. It actually is. So of course, said jerked around ex(ish) says yes. See you in Atlanta. Commence the story... Needless to reiterate... I highly recommend. It was a mind warp but one you ultimately enjoy. Excited to see where this series goes and can't figure out who I want her to end up with. Happy avoiding... :)

The Angst of a Love a triangle has never been sooo

The Avoiding series was my introduction to K.A. Linde ‘s world, and boy what a way to feel all types of feelings. The series follows Lex for over 10 years, flash backs of her past to make us understand her relationship with Jack... ugh Jack. That’s all I’m going to say. There’s love triangles. Left and right... you’ll be frustrated angry, in love, in awe, happy, and annoyed. (Lol) It starts with Alex receiving a call from Jack who ask her to please come meet his current girlfriend Beckah (gag) who wants to make sure Jack is ready for marriage. (Yeah ok) & wants to meet all of his exes... but the thing is. Jack & Lexi weren’t really dating so they’re not exes per say... read so that you can join in the angst of what is Lex & Jack! 💚 #ForeverTeamPeppetmint (read to know what this means)!

    One of my favorite series!

This series was the first series I ever read by KA Linde. She is the queen of angst and this was my first experience. Jack and Lexi have a difficult relationship. As you go through the series you will find yourself bouncing between team Jack and team I hate Jack! It is worth it to keep going even with all the drama and angst!
