  • Loved it

I loved this story!! Loved these characters and their interaction feels very real. Great writing!! The Bachelor Auction definitely has things heating up in Marietta! Meg Canon and Linc Brady originally met when he stops to help her on the side of the road. When she jokingly gets him involved in the auction he is not happy and then when she starts bidding on him he's had enough! He doesn't want to owe her anything. When tempers die down and they start really talking he finds her incredibly tempting. Since she is only in town for a short amount of time, he offers her one night she'll never forget. He definitely got that part right, the baby definitely wouldn't let her forget!

  • The Bachelor's Baby

The Bachelor's Baby is another really good read in Montana Born's Bachelor Auction series. I love how they are all tied loosely together, loose enough that they can very easily be read as stand alones. I also like the novella length of them all. They are the perfect length for the stories being told. In The Bachelor's Baby, I really enjoyed Linc and Meg. Dani's writing and the feelings she brings out really made me care for these two characters. I felt for Meg in particular, she has so many unresolved issues and her time back in Marietta is bittersweet for her. Despite this, she is moving on, strong, and very likable. Linc has found his place in Marietta and he found Meg. Their one night of passion was something that could happen, the chemistry was right between them, and I liked how it just was. Neither was looking for or expecting anything more, even if it was unforgettable. The way they react and deal with what happens next is believable, and the maturity of their characters shone through, and this is something I really liked also. The plot of The Bachelor's baby really worked for me in this book, and it was because of the characters, the emotions they evoked, and the entertainment I felt while reading! I'd recommend The Bachelor's Baby to any romance reader.
