    The Barren trilogy

Wow!!This book was awesome, suitable for adults for sure and teens but not perhaps around 10 yr olds only cause of the amount of death and bodies...but it had to be there for the plot to work. This bunch of teens are normal enough at the begining but as u progress u get to see how much of a load the 'end of the world' dumps on these kids and how they cope. some better then others etc (dont want to give to much away) . This was a crazy ride through these 3 books with massive highs n lows which i rode with them by simply reading and getting sucked into the story big time. I would have given a fifth star but there were just enough spelling mistakes that i personally kinda noticed, still so very readable so pls dont let that put u off. it doesnt effect the plot or the quality of the storyline and these characters make up for any spelling or editing stuff so 4 & half stars!!!

    Unreadable

Painfully awkward writing, wildly uneven character development and contradictions in almost every paragraph. Post-apocalyptic story with no tension, threat or realism in the characters or situations. Very frustrating.
