    My favorite

Stephen King always has been, and always will be, my all time favorite. It has less to do with the scare factor of his stories, which don't get me wrong I enjoy to the fullest, and more to do with his amazing ability to pull you into the tales he tells. Hook, line and sinker. His descriptive styles are unlike any other story teller I've indulged. He brings his characters to life in a way that makes them seem as real as you or I, and causes me genuine sadness from their departure when the story ends.

    Short story collection

It's difficult to rate a book of short stories, some were 5 stars, others were 2. I enjoyed most of the stories, and I didn't read a couple of others. It's Stephen King though, and I always enjoy his storytelling abilities. My favourite was Ur, followed by Drunken Fireworks. I just have to add a quick note about this book. At the beginning of every story, Stephen King writes about how that story came to be. This, to me, was as entertaining as the stories themselves.

    Weeeeel...

This is a collection of short stories by Mr. King. Not his best. The stories, for the most part, seemed unfinished—like a song ending on the wrong note. The best in this gathering I'd read before. Perhaps you'll enjoy them more than I.

    Scary

This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Quite scary and frightening in places. Some endings predictable, others right out of a horror movie great job.

    Fantastic

All the best of Stephen King in a bite sized format, Perfect for busy people on the go. You can easily find time for a good read start to finish.
