    My experience

As a teenage mother over 50 years ago I found many similarities. I was however lucky enough to marry my high-school sweet heart and spend 49 1/2 years with him until sudden death last year

    The Beach Quilt

The different angles from which the story is told are totally real, the feelings experienced by each of the characters are believable. I am a parent of a teen mum and I could identify with Cindy, the teen mum's mum. I am also a sister to two adopted brothers and can identify with that angle of the story too. Adoption can be a wonderful gift to give to a child and to a family wanting a child. I did not see the ending of the story coming though. Have some tissues handy.

A coming of age story .

This was a good story for young ladies of 10 to 16 years old. Growing up in a small town, the three girls, while very different, are coping with life and its vagaries. It has lessons to be learned and a few tears to be shed.

    The beach quilt

Good story but unnecessarily long. Unfortunately, you can skip pages and not miss any of the story. Doesnt end that well.
