  • Second Chances

I really like the storyline, but felt that the book was rushed. I would prefer a longer book, where there is more depth to the characters and story. That being said I did love watching Jason and Liz reconnect and get a second chance at love. I also enjoyed getting introduced to all the other characters that will be a part of this series.

  • The Beach Wedding Married in Malibu

This was a light reading book but did enjoy the story and how the writer was able to keep my interest.

  • Sweet, lovely romance-makes you feel good

I had planned on just reading a chapter before bedtime. They next thing I knew, I had reached the end. But I didn't want it to end. The only way that happens for me is if the book flows well, has great characters, and a plot that not only makes sense but develops throughout the story. Liz Wilkinson has been hired to run the new wedding venue in Malibu. She hires talented people that not only complement the business but they add to the story. With weeks still to go before the grand opening, her past knocks on her door. Her ex-fiancee, Jason's niece needs a new secret venue before she looses it. Watching them pull off a fancy wedding in two weeks was awe inspiring. The only problem--Liz and Jason will have to work closely to pull it off. Liz and Jason will have to "pretend" to be the couple to through off the press. Liz and Jason will have to deal with the past. There isn't a lot of HOT in The Beach Wedding but there is a lot of sweet. It is a very believable cute book. There wasn't too little. There wasn't too much. It was just right.

  • Okay

Same o same o. It was okay, and I love the clean versions better. However, why do romance books always follow the same storyline? Why can't there be more variety? The characters are different but I could narrate how the story was going to unfold and not get it wrong by much. Why oh why do storylines always follow the same route? I am so bored with it. More interesting ways to get to the alter please!
