    Thanks for your feedback!

    Simple and impactful

A great translations work from original Sanskrit to English, with a brilliant attempt to maintain the essence of original poetry and literary quality. Highly recommended as an introduction for native English speakers into the multi-layer complex revelation of Gita. It maintains the exact number of verses as the original work and the use of language has a very high impact. I am a native Hindi-speaker with fluent English. The use of language and its interpretation of Gita far outshines in this English version than any Hindi translation that i have read to-date. Next I plan to read Gandhi's translation and would surely do a compare with this, once I am done. Will keep everyone posted.

    Masterpiece

No, you would not be better of taking your own decisions in life. Have it handed down to you in this masterpiece from the writers of "Why Astrophysics is for Morons" and "Evolution is only a Theory". The Bhagvad Gita will lead you to self realization of the scientifically proven fact that you are NOT a speck of cosmic dust floating in the night sky with no true purpose (I'm serious!), it will give your life true meaning. For those filthy Pastafarians, there's no hope to be had. For everyone else, there's the Gita.

    Best self realization

This is an excellent treatment of millenia-old Hindu religious thought for the modern day thinking man. The main body of the book is Lord Krishna's explanation to his life-long friend and champion archer Arjun of life's purpose. I heartily recommend it to any reader interested in obtaining an overview of one of India's greatest philosophical works!

    good traslation

it is in poetic format not in prose, so check before buying, if you are comfortable with English it is definitely a great book, if you not familiar with poetic English you will not understand this book
