    great contemporary romance!

This seductive romance is the story of Jax and Pandora. Meeting as two strangers in a bar, they let go of their identities to share a night of passion. But reality catches up with them and dealing with the fallout turns into more than either bargained for. Jax is the epitome of the alpha male and his attraction to Pandora is overwhelming for her at first, coming from a very sheltered background. But she is no match for him, or the desire he radiates for her. The sexual tension in the story was sizzling and the love scenes were hot and steamy! I liked how Pandora grew bolder as she became more comfortable with Jax. It was a fast and entertaining read, with a great back story and secondary characters that were equally interesting. 4 stars!

    Could not stop reading

It was the first time I read Jackie's books could not put it down. Read all three books. I could relate to both characters how they grew up and the difficult in trusting love.

    DNF Chapter 8, Approx 80%

DNF Chapter 8, approximately 80%. Not a good one, I tried to like it, I did tried. The major problem with this book is as follows: 1. Stilted Dialogue. Eye rolls plenty. 2. Several eye-rolled moments. For example: With no information on Pandora's education or training, and her living a very controlled sheltered life, she was able to hack into FBI website mainframe within a moment's notice, using a brand new computer just out of a box, with no per-loaded programs for hacking. I am just a very basic computer user, and it sounded improbable to me. 3. Improbable explanations, illogical reasoning, and more eye-rolled moments. For example:Jax explained why he didn't want to have sex with Pandora again. Because when he was young boy, he tried to defend his naughty five yrs old step-brother, and consequently angered his mum, his mum never forgave him and years later she dies and Jax blame himself......Seriously!!! There were moments in the books that seem familiar to other books I have read, it didn't feel original to me....This book sometimes felt like a compilation of several scenes from other books published in the recent years. Life is too short, so I am giving up. I have one more book by the same author, I hope the second book will be better.
