  • Amazing

I've loved these Christensen Brothers stories and Travis' was amazing! He lives his life full out. Working hard when he's on the ice as goalie for his team. Playing just as hard when he's off the ice. His I don't give a crap attitude lands him in hot water from time to time though and the team has had enough of his exploits. When they call in a sassy PR rep Reily Martin to straighten out his image he's not too happy but given the ultimatum of do it or loss your spot on the team he doesn't have a choice but to comply. Reily's handled some tough cases in the past but when the sparks start to fly between her and Travis she realizes this may be her toughest case ever! I definitely recommend this one.

  • Entertaining!

I was given an advanced copy of this book to write an honest review for Netgalley and Cocktails and Books. This is a novella about Travis Christensen, a goalie with the Dallas Stars. Travis comes from a rich Texas family and he likes to live life on the edge. Lately, he is getting a lot of bad press for his wild lifestyle and his bosses and teammates are getting tired of his behavior overshadowing the team. Travis meets Reily Martin when the team hires her to clean up his image. Even though Travis and Reily are total opposites, they bring out the best in each other. I found it easy to like Travis. He is sexy, fun and has a dirty mouth. Reily lives a regimented life and has never met anyone like Travis and she finds herself captivated by his bad boy behavior and wondering what lies beneath all his charm. I enjoyed this quick entertaining story.

  • Athlete meets Image Consultant for Fine Tuning

This short sweet story is one in which the rich bad boy athlete and the smart girl image consultant called in to fix media issues before the end of the hockey season get their happily ever after. Travis Christiansen has wealth, health and a bad image based on unwise behavior and yet he has a heart of gold, is smarter than you might think and knows what he ultimately wants. Reily Martin has debts, a new business, a desire to make her business a success and is somewhat of a control freak though she also has a less uptight side she doesn’t often let out. The characters and story arc are somewhat predictable, the writing enjoyable and the conclusion a given so if you are looking for a sweet romance that can be read in an afternoon this might be the book for you. Thank you to NetGalley and Saint Martin’s Press for the copy of this book to read and review.

  • To Reily Martin image is everything.

To Reily Martin image is everything. She takes pride in being the best at what she does. For Travis Christensen freedom of expression is how he lives his life. His individuality may have gotten him in over his head at times but he's had some fun along the way. I received an ARC of The Billionaire Heartbreaker by Mandy Baxter in exchange for an honest review. The contrast between the two main characters was what made the story appealing to me. Life of the party Travis being forced to work with uptight, regimented Reily started out as irritating for both of them. Neither saw the personality flaw in themselves. As they got to know each other is when the epiphanies started. Reily needed to learn how to relax and enjoy her self more. Travis needed to learn how to control himself and not let the good times interfere with his responsibilities. The moral of this story is it's okay to be yourself but sometimes change can lead to a better you. What I enjoy about the Christensen brothers is that they are all different but love proves their unifying force.
