    The bookshop on the Shore

Nice easy read. Very predictable story. A bit boring.

    A very good read.

I really enjoyed this book - the setting, the characters, and even the weather!

    Great Read!

Very nice story to read when you are down and out since the main character goes through a lot of adversity in her life but has a survivor's perspective on life . Great story line, good characters, story keeps you going until the end.

    I Loved it!

Single Mom Zoe and her son, Hari leave London and her useless boyfriend, Jaz, to try to start a new life away from her seedy flat and dead end job. She becomes an au pair in a creepy mansion for three unruly children of an almost absent father and a housekeeper who's set in her ways. Her job to sell books isn't the dream job she thought it would be. What has she gotten herself and Hari into a million miles from nowhere? The scenery almost makes it worthwhile, though. The story was captivating as Zoe took her charges in and became the mother figure they needed. Lots of twists and turns. I loved it.
