The Boy On The Wooden Box

Excellent! It kept my interest. The reason that I didn't give it 5 stars, is because it was to Short!

    The Boy On The Box

I grew up in a Jewish neighbourhood in Ontario, Canada. I had Jewish teachers and mostly Jewish friends. As such, I learned about the Holocaust, sometimes firsthand, at a young age and encouraged to read many autobiographies and books about the Holocaust, which I still continue to do in my 50s. I was raised in an Evangelical Christian home where I was taught to love the Jewish people and honour them as God's Chosen People. I have exhausted many library's Holocaust section and, can honestly say, this book is one of the finest memoirs I have had the privilege to read. You won't be able to put it down and, even though it is published under the category of Young Readers, everyone, young to old, can learn from this book and appreciate its content and spirit of the author.
