    So Fun!!

So fun!! I so enjoyed this book. This is a shorter length read that delivers a very satisfying burst of awesomeness. I fell hard for Hayes and Maren. Their chemistry was steamy and OMG the sparks these two generated was insane!! The storyline itself was a wonderful combination of cuteness, heat, heart, humor, drama, emotion and a hint of the forbidden. This is my independent, impartial review.

    Bring on the sunshine ....

The Boyfriend Effect feels like a sucker punch to the heart. Caught between laughter and frustration, there might be a few tears, but there is always fun in store. Ryan grabs readers by the funny bone and holds on for dear life. Hayes and Maren are a temptation that is not to be missed. A playboy that has a heart. A good girl intent on showing him how it works. Ryan and company are determined to bring on the sunshine with unpredictable, irresistible, delightful and captivating romance.

    Quick-moving, entertaining and sweet!

The Boyfriend Effect is the first book in Kendall Ryan's new Frisky Business series and what a start it was - SO good! Hayes is the guy that has never stayed in relationships, but likes the companionship that dating brings. He's dated plenty, but things always seem to implode, like when he's literally tossed out of his latest girlfriend's apartment. After this fiasco, he decides he's going to take a break from the dating game. Maren has worked at a retirement home for many years and it is one of the great joys of her life. She loves being able to help and she's developed friendships with the residents. When she finds out that funding is going to run out and something has to be done to keep the facility running or it's going to close, she's devastated. When Wolfie, Hayes' best friend and Maren's brother, asks Hayes to go check on her when she's sick, little does he know that he's about to kick start the fire that has been simmering between these two for years. When Hayes agrees to help Maren with a fundraiser to save the retirement home, he also realizes that maybe she's the reason he has never settled down. Does she feel the same way and is she willing to give them a try? This was a quick-moving, entertaining and sweet book. I enjoyed the characters, the relationships between all of them and I really enjoyed Hayes' grandmother. Oh and I can't wait to see what happens in the next book, My Brother's Roommate!

Move over Tom, there’s a new boy in town!!!

The Boyfriend Effect is the first in a new series, ‘Frisky Business’, by Kendall Ryan. It had me giggling from the opening chapters and that light-hearted feeling stayed with the story throughout. Maren and Hayes were a sweet, and sexy couple. Maren’s held a hidden candle for Hayes for years but never had the opportunity to let him ‘see’ her. Once he did, it was all hands on deck, or counter, lol. I loved these two, and the secondary characters were pretty amazing too, especially the elderly variety.

So much to love about this book!

You know when you read a book with such ease and you genuinely feel happy? This book has it in spades. I tell you Maren is this caring woman with an absolute heart of gold. When her work is having financial difficulties, her brothers best friend Hayes steps up to the plate with ideas to help. Lets just say Hayes and Maren are fire. They have such sizzling chemistry and their banter is amazing. I just loved the ease of friendship and especially Hayes grandma, shes wonderful. I think Hayes could charm anyone, hes just that type of man but with his past relationships something seems to always go wrong, what is it about Maren that makes everything feel right? Hes conflicted but in his heart of hearts he has to know what is right. Can these two become more especially when someone doesn’t know and might not approve. Only one way to find out. Go grab your copy to find out! So much to love about this book!
