    Burial hour

Enjoyed this book immensely, the twist and turns in the plot kept me trying to discover who the protagonist was! Also the introduction of the "forestry policeman" to the mix added a touch of comic relief.

    Burial hour

It was good and glad to read it but found it was not a page Turner as previous books. Still look forward to reading the next one released. Thank you Jeffrey Deaver

    The Burial Hour

Deaver, Rhyme, and Sachs never disappoint. This book is a departure of sorts in that it begins with a kidnapping in NYC and continues in Naples, Italy. But nothing is as it seems with Deaver and this proves true in this book. There are refugees, terrorists (or are there?), bombings, traitors, a forestry cop a.k.a. a wannabe police detective, a wedding with the most succinct wedding speech ever, and so many side trips into other investigations to keep Rhyme interested even on his honeymoon. (I must say I was charmed by Ercole and wish he could be in future books.)

    Good but...

I liked the Italian side of the story, but because the book was so predictable and no one actually died, well one person I thought the book was a bit soft as they say in the uk.

    The burial hour

Could not get into it. Too much all over the place.
