  • A good read for me.

I was troubled by some of the violence and lost track a bit at times and questioned the endurance of injured people to carry on to do some of the things they did, but I was entertained and enjoyed the basic concepts of futuristic struggles.

  • Burning Sands Trilogy

I quite enjoyed this trilogy. It is set in the near future (originally), but unknown to the characters, 50 years have passed. The world is barren, left by the Great Fire, and the struggles the characters go through, including new species of humanoids. I loved the characters, and the plot ran smoothly, with humor and twists. I enjoyed the books.

  • All fight action

I read about half of the first volume, but it didn't sustain my interest, as it was largely about physical fighting. Characters and ideas that seemed interesting were killed off, unfulfilled.

  • Attention keeping

The survival struggle is on non stop, and the odds are too bad, no really the odds are too bad. The main character interestingly is flawed which means relationships don’t go smoothly either. In short it is an adrenalin filled yarn, where you end up cheering for the good guys.

    Thanks for your feedback!
