    Immensely satisfying

I have loved every word of this robust, intelligent, well written and wonderful series. The last book was easily worth the wait and I feel happy and satisfied and only a bit sad that I will have to wait for Brent Weeks to write another series.

    So Good

After having waited so long for this final chapter of the Lightbringer series all I can say is ... well worth the wait. I laughed, I cried, I put it down and walked away in disgust and yet had to pick it up again. Brent Weeks you really tugged at my heart strings. Thank you for all the years with Kip, Dazen and Andross.

“Please sir, I’d like some more”

These books are so good. I could read 10 more books set in this world! Well done sir. Loved the ending, my only problem with it is, it meant the books were ending.😢

    Very fitting

Exciting all the way through. I cried more than once. I highly recommend this series to anyone who's read game of thrones or books similar to that.

    A finale not quite fireworks-y

Although an enjoyable conclusion to the Lightbringer series, this Behemoth (1,1134 pages!) is not without its faults. There are more than a few lengthy moments (the final confrontation between the Chromeria and the White King going on for over 300 pages, for instances), and some Tom Bombadilesque parts, where subplots eat up quite a number of pages without adding much, if any, to the main storyline. Ironically, despite that, it feels as if Brent Weeks was in a hurry to finish up some other plot-arcs, and couldn’t resist the urge to resort to (at times cheesy) Deus ex Machina conclusions. All in all, not a bad book, however, as the story remains quite enjoyable (and who doesn’t long to find out what happens to Kip, Karris and the gang?), but it’s definitely at step back from the excellent quality of the first couple Lightbringer books.
