    Thanks for your feedback!

    Another great Devney Perry book!

I would happily read hundreds of Jamison Valley love stories! The Candle Palace is another fabulous trip to my favorite fictional town of Prescott, Montana. This is the story of Milo Phillips who We first met in The Coppersmith Farmhouse and fell in love with as all the series progressed. His story starts after he suffers serious burns received in a meth lab explosion. While hospitalized in the burn unit, Milo meets and falls in love with the sweet nurse, Sara. I’m so happy that Devney Perry missed Prescott and all the residents and let us all come along for another visit!

Single flame that ignites the love of a lifetime!

This novella has all the feels. This is the story of Milo and his HEA. He is a side character in the rest of the Jamison Valley series and is intriguing enough to warrant his own story. The Coppersmith Farmhouse, the first in the series, explains what happens to Milo to put him in the position of meeting his one true love, Sara. Milo is hurt in an explosion and Sara is his nurse in the burn unit at the hospital. You learn about the strength each of these characters has...both as individuals and as a couple. Though their story is not quite as full of excitement as the other characters in the series...their love is just as powerful. Devney promised a powerful story...and she did not disappoint! A very enjoyable read!!

    Stunning and beautiful to read!

Oh my stars. This story. My heart just melted as you get to know what brought Milo and Sara together. My heart broke at moments through this story because of what people pull on these two. I love the caring nature of Sara and how much she gives of herself to her work. I could not imagine how tough it would be to do the kind of job that Sara does as a nurse. Then you have Milo who had been through something so traumatic, but found light, a candle if you will, in the darkness with Sara. As these two get to know each other, the draw to each other gets deeper. With these little twists and turns plus jerks and witches thrown in their path, you really get an in depth feeling of how things happened for these two. Overall, this is a brilliant addition to the Jamison Valley series. I loved getting to know these two side characters from previous novels who stole my heart. Their love, their passion and so so much more between them. My heart was bursting by the end and I really did not want it to be over. If you are a lover of this series, you will adore this book!

    The Candle Palace, 5+ Stars

Reading The Candle Palace by Devney Perry was bittersweet. Sweet because it's a D.Perry book and easily exceeds all expectations. And bitter because one of my favorite series' of all time comes to an end. The Jamison Valley Series consists of 6 books. Every book is about another couple and can easily be read as standalones. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order. The previous books are The Coppersmith Farmhouse; The Clover Chapel; The Lucky Heart; The Outpost and The Bitterrroot Inn. The Candle Palace is Sara and Milo's heart wrenching story. I will not spoiler here, only so much the story had me in knots and I was captivated from chapter one. I read the book, cover to cover , in one sitting. The Candle Palace is a nailbiting, unputdownable read that kept me in suspense from start til the end. I cn't express how much I love the storyline, the excellent writing and the characrs, don't let me start with them. They gave me all the feels and I was in a roller coaster of emotions while reading this outstanding book. I highly recommend the book and the series and give 5+ stars.

    Welcome to the Candle Palace

Every time I read a Devney Perry Book, it takes me a few days afterwards to get my feelings in order, sadness that the story I have been waiting for is now over is the first emotion I feel, closely followed by the overwhelming sense of happiness that another couple I have grown to love, have found their happily ever after, and lastly an immense feeling of desperation for the next story to come. The Candle Palace is no different. When Devney said she was writing another story in the Jamison Valley Series, I couldn’t stop smiling for days, the series that started my love affair with her writing was continuing. Then when she announced who’s story it was going to be, I was ecstatic, if anyone deserved their HEA it was Milo, and oh my goodness what a fantastic job she did giving it to him. For fans of Devney Perry you will remember Milo from her very first book, The Coppersmith Farmhouse, Milo was the loose lipped Deputy with a heart of gold, who got injured when the meth house they were investigating blew up! Skip ahead a few books to The Lucky Heart and we see Milo again, only he’s fully healed and back in the Jamison Valley with Sara, the nurse who looked after him whilst he was in the burns unit in Spokane. It was so great to see him happy and healthy, but I always wondered about their story, how did the shy deputy manage to win the heart of his beautiful nurse, well I won’t give much away, but as it did in TCSFH, Milo’s sweetness, quiet strength and kind personality shone through and won Sara over along with the beauty of his heart, and though they had a lot of bumps and trauma along the way, in the end you are left with a timeless love story of two people who truly couldn’t do better than the other and shows even after years of marriage, ups and downs aplenty along with arguments that mean so much at the time, but are soon forgotten, their love is still as strong and deep as when they first met, and they will continue fighting for what they have together. As with everything Devney does, she has the Midas touch, or the Midas keyboard I should say, because everything she writes is pure gold. Another 5* read, I would highly recommend.
