    hidding in plain sight

I love a good mystery, I especially love it when I don't figure out the bad guy in the first few pages. Ms. Lain's story is one of the few that actually threw me off and I was as surprised as everyone else when the bad guy was names. Dr. Llewellyn Lewis is a shy nerdy professor who loves a good research mystery. By day he is tan pants, sweaters , hates crowds and has a distinct stutter. However, at night he transforms to Ramon a flashy confident man who doesn't stutter and is a mystery everyone wants to solve. Blaise, our love interest was hard to read. You know he is not who he seams but can't put your finger on who he is and what he is hiding. This was an interesting storyline, keeps moving quickly and keeps you on your toes as you try to unravel the mysteries. Great characters, lots of players to keep things interesting and a head of department that is just a complete Jack @#s. I loved Llewellyn's teaching assistant, she was just the right balance to his shy demeanor. A great fun read. Looking forward to the next Middlemark Mystery.
