  • I love this book!

I love this! You did it again Susan! It's getting chilly where I live so of course I was sitting with a blanket over me & drinking my hot tea while reading this book. I've always wanted to own a B&B so this was right up my alley! I even went out to the garage and made sure all of my Xmas decorations and lights were in order for my house. I WISH I had 60 tubs of decorations! Such a fun book to read and definitely has left me with that tingly Christmas feeling and hope for love!

  • Christmas Cheer & Charm But Lite On The Romance

I was very excited to read this book because it kicks-off a brand new series from this author. Overall, I thought it was a good book and an enjoyable read. The writing was well done, the characters likable and the setting charming. Add in lots of heart, Christmas cheer and some crafts and you have a book that is hard not to be entertained by. That being said, I ended up feeling that having two romances unfolding in this one book was a bit of a disservice to them both. Neither one received the full-on spotlight or depth it deserved. Still though, A good read that I liked and it left me anxious to return to Wishing Tree very soon. This is my elective, forthright review.

  • Love Belle.

Love the story, the characters and LOVED Belle. Reggie decided she needed to go home for the holidays. She had been hiding long enough. After her humiliation the previous year, she didn't want everyone talking about her. Dena was tired of looking for someone to love and not finding him. She wants a home and family, so she decided to skip the husband and just have a baby on her own. What they both found was love. Reggie found out she was still in love with her old boyfriend, but he doesn't trust anyone enough to give them his heart. Who could blame him. Dena is falling for Micah who is a rich rock star. What would he want with her? Micah has spent the last year recovering from injuries and the loss of his wife and baby. Dena has helped him to feel again. Can they make it. A very entertaining story that I didn't want to put down.

  • Easy enjoyable read

This was a lovely book. A feel good story with likable characters. Belle was my favourite. I really enjoyed it and wanted the story to continue. Maybe a final chapter that gives a story update.

  • The Christmas Wedding Guest

I'm on Christmas overload and loving it! The Somerville sisters each are having a difficult time with their own love lives but they come together to work on their parent's renewal vows ceremony. Reggie has come back to town after her short engagement ends but a new-old flame is there in the wings for her and the sparks are bright. Dena is pregnant and alone by choice but she has a sad and lost songwriter staying at her inn. Will everyone find love this Christmas? This was such as quirky and special town, full of traditions and so much heart it was almost like reading a Hallmark movie! Definitely a keeper and recommended any time of year!
