    Enjoyed

Enjoyed the book, another variation of the Arthurian legend done for modern times. A captivating story that wants you to keep reading more.

    Worth the Read.

Rowan Casey is a pseudonym for a group of best selling authors, one of them being my favorite, Pippa Dacosta (who wrote book #4). Book 1 is good in world building, introduction to the characters that each of the following books will expand upon. The pacing is fast and interesting and you feel sympathy for the protagonist in this book, Jesse, "the berserker" Noble. The only drawback that I can see in book 1 was that Jesse didn't seem to have the same mission as the other characters, but being this is book 1 it probably was to be expected. Book 1 was really world building. I've already started on book 2 and the character development and the quest has certainly stepped up. I highly recommend this series and look forward to reading the rest.

    They gather eventually

I really enjoyed the story and characters. I don't know anything about MMA but could get the feel of the action. Her battle to deal with the visions disrupting her life was well described. BUT This is a mixed review. I felt that calling it "The Circle Gathers" was misleading. The rest of the Circle doesn't appear until the last quarter of the book. I kept waiting for the rest of them to appear. The cover is wrong - It's all about Jessie and so she should have been at the fore and (if that is Grimm) Grimm would not have a sword.
