  • A favorite!

This book is now on my list of favorite books of all time. It holds a coveted spot along with a select few other books. I read The Coppersmith Farmhouse and thought to myself how can this be the author's first book. It has the feeling and quality of KA and Coho. This author is a hidden gem and will definitely become an extremely well known as one of the greats! The writing is stellar, the plot intriguing and captivating! I can't recommend this book enough.

  • The first in the best series ever!!

The first book in what has become my favorite series!! All the feels...you will cry and you will laugh out loud and feel most emotions in between. Gigi moves her and her daughter into a farmhouse that Jess truly feels belongs to him. She is a nurse, he is the town sheriff...and a jerk. Their relationship starts off rocky but as they come to know one another and spend time together, they develop a relationship everyone else can be envious of. Heartwarming love story with comedy and suspense mixed in. Perfect mixture for a perfect book. This book sets the pace for a fabulous series!! Great job Devney!

  • The Coppersmith Farmhouse

Way, way, way too much swearing. I can handle the F word but this was excessive. Too much vulgarity in the love making as well. I liked the premise of the book but could hardly wait to finish it because of the excessive swearing. I do not want to read another book by this author. Also, do not care for the use of the C word. Could have been a really good read without so much profanity.

  • The Coppersmiths Farmhouse

Why does a talented author have to destroy a perfectly good story with the foulest of foul language. After 10 pages I threw in the towel. VERY disappointed because it would likely be a good story. Very disappointed that Devney feels the need to destroy her talent by populating a good story with R rated language I am sure my viewpoint won’t mean much but it was a perfectly good story without the foul language .

  • Good

Too full of ‘f’ words. This should have been rated “Erotic “. The storyline was good.
