    A favorite!

This book is now on my list of favorite books of all time. It holds a coveted spot along with a select few other books. I read The Coppersmith Farmhouse and thought to myself how can this be the author's first book. It has the feeling and quality of KA and Coho. This author is a hidden gem and will definitely become an extremely well known as one of the greats! The writing is stellar, the plot intriguing and captivating! I can't recommend this book enough.

The first in the best series ever!!

The first book in what has become my favorite series!! All the feels...you will cry and you will laugh out loud and feel most emotions in between. Gigi moves her and her daughter into a farmhouse that Jess truly feels belongs to him. She is a nurse, he is the town sheriff...and a jerk. Their relationship starts off rocky but as they come to know one another and spend time together, they develop a relationship everyone else can be envious of. Heartwarming love story with comedy and suspense mixed in. Perfect mixture for a perfect book. This book sets the pace for a fabulous series!! Great job Devney!

    Favorite new author!

I really love finding a new author and falling in love with their story and characters. The blurb had me intrigued, because the story sounded really good. It was even better than I thought it would be. The history of the farmhouse was so interesting. Both Jess and Georgia has separate relationships with Ben Coppersmith, and it seemed like fate that things worked out the way it did. Of course, Ben had a big hand in all that. Of that, I'm sure. I enjoyed the entire way this story unfolded. From their rocky start to sparks flying to the drama that kept popping up. I loved it all. It kept me on the edge of my seat, not wanting to put my book down. I will definitely be following this debut author and her work to come.

    The Coppersmith Farmhouse

Loved! Loved! Loved! As much as it pains me to say, I am one of those people who chooses a book by its cover, especially with new authors. Generally, that is the catalyst that gets me to read the blurb and then buy a book. I bypassed this book for far too long! I kept hearing all these wonderful things, but kept on going. Until I decided to give it a shot. And I wish I had taken the leap sooner!! I loved Gigi! She had been dealt such a difficult hand at life, but persevered, and really made a good life for her daughter. Jess, the town sheriff, came across as a jerk at first, but the chemistry between he and Gigi was off the charts! And the way he loved his "girls" made him so endearing! After reading this, I was surprised to not find other books written by Denvey Perry- she has a great talent for writing! The characters were well-developed, the plot flowed smoothly, and, while I still had questions, the conclusion made it complete. This is the first book in a series of standalones. (Side note: the questions I still had look like they'll be addressed in another book). I learned a lesson to not judge a book by its cover. Otherwise, I may have missed this gem!

My first, but definitely not my last!!

This was my very first read of Devney Perry and I stumbled upon it from a suggestion made in one of my author groups. All I can say is WOW!! From start to finish you feel this book. I loved that the story line was never rushed, and you get to know the main people involved with the H and h. I really enjoyed the single mother aspect of this book. Devney Perry may be new to me, but she won't stay that way for long. I highly recommend this book to everyone!!
