    Very horsey book

Characters in story quite interesting but far too much of story devoted to horse riding and all sorts of horse information. After reading horsey bits once or twice I just skipped over them. I wouldn't read another similar book for that reason.

Yes, it sums up the content

The more I read, the more I enjoyed it ! Was not sure of it at first, but it is very funny in parts, and paints a glorious picture of life (for some !) on the edge of the Cotswolds.

    Horsey heaven

Intelligent enough not to be light weight but still fun and quirky. Got a bit confused with so many characters to begin with but eventually got it sorted. Fiona Walker obviously knows horses as having once been a rider myself the descriptions had me clearly imagining scenes and almost feeling and smelling the equine atmosphere. Really enjoyed it, loving the fact there were no tragedies en route to a happy ending.
