    Loved Maya and Lance

This has been a long awaited book for me, as it has for many other Cora Seton fans, Lance and Maya certainly delivered! I managed to finish this one in a day, could not put it down! As the series continues more secrets are revealed and we get more of an understanding as to why the families really are enemies. It’s heartbreaking for our hero Lance and our heroine Maya, unknown to each of them they have a lot in common, their love of history and a desire to keep their local museum alive, and the feeling of never being understood by their families and having to put family first and their own true wants and desires second. Lance and Maya clearly want each other but struggle with their families secrets, long standing hatred of the families but want so badly to be able to love who they want and make all their lives better. For me this one had lots of moments of heartbreak, I just wanted them to be able to be together, but it was hard! I love how we get to see lots of different characters from all of the other Chance Creek series, the re-enactment really does bring the whole community together, really looking forward to Liam and Tory!

    The Cowboy’s Hidden Bride

ARC for honest review with no compensation 4.5 stars The Cowboy’s Hidden Bride is book 3 of the Turners vs Coopers (Chance Creek Saga) by Cora Seton and another great book in the continuing feud! Lance Turner loves history and has been helping with the July 4th Revolutionary War re-enactment for years to help him step away from his never ending problems but when the museum receives word they are losing their lease and need to raise funds to find a new place for the museum he adds this problem to all the rest he is carrying...that is until Maya Cooper, who also loves history but wants more for the re-enactment and maybe spice it up. After attending a meeting and being pared up with Lance to make it happen now sparks start flying, sneaking around, hiding the attraction from their feuding families can these two save the museum, make the re-enactment better and maybe find their HEA despite their families?? Only time will tell....

    Family f\Fued!

The Turners and the Coopers have been in a fued with each other for what seems forever. Lance is a Cooper. Maya is a Turner. They both love the past, have wanted to go to college, and both are unhappy with what they're doing. Can they both get what they want and each other? I love all of the books by this author. Her stories draw you in and her characters are all interesting. Can't get enough of her stories. I would recommend all of her books

Maya Turner and Lance Cooper's story--fun romance-

Maya Turner and Lance Cooper's story--fun romance--no cliffhanger & yes, an HEA. This was an awesome book about Maya Turner and Lance Cooper whose families were sworn enemies. The feud was complicated even more when their siblings Noah and Olivia married. Hmmm? Forbidden love—so sweet! Will lightning strike twice in these families or fate just give them a bit more trouble and grief. I enjoyed how each of them kept working hard to help their family and tried to do so at the expense of their own happiness. Could they ever find a way to do it all? Was there just too much that needed done to pursue any of their own dreams on the side—including each other. Would it rip their families apart with more grief than they could bear? These questions need to be answered while each family struggles to maintain their own ranch and work in competition to earn the Founder’s prize—another ranch that had controlling water rights. Well, let’s heap more work on the pile—a museum needs money, and new home, and saved from extinction. Maya and Lance are surprised to learn the other is also motivated in that mutual cause. Will they come together, compete, or undermine each other. Only time will tell. Just the right amount of tenderness, sizzle, conflict, revelations of long-held family secrets, and even a full-on battle. Cora Seton did it again!

    She'd never felt so right!

Family history dictates this should be wrong...….but nothing ever felt so right and you cannot fight destiny! I love every visit to Chance Creek: the Brides, the Cowboys, the SEALs and of course the Turner's v's Cooper's. Maya and Lance are totally caught out by their attraction and the sparks that fly every time they come together, the family feud dictates they not even speak but their shared love of history and the threat to the local history museum means they are spending more and more time together. The more time they spend together the more the attraction grows and the more they work together the harder they fall. Neither family can object to love......can they? Who will win this round? The Cooper's? The Turner's? The feud? Or love? Every instalment of this series is packed full of drama, passion, interfering families, laughter, hatred, loving, tears and a cast of characters that you cannot wait to join again and again. Finishing book 3 in the series will leave you eager for book 4.
