    Flawless.

Absolutely perfect introduction. Better than I imagined their partnership beginning. I had already read the first three books written in this series and the small bit of foreshadowing was excellent. One of my all time favorite books.

    Better and better

Seriously hoping Sullivan keeps coming out with the Chronicles for years to come because they will not get old for me. I love finding out what Royce and Hadrian got up to before Revelations, in more detail!!!

    Phenomenal

This is my favorite Michael J. Sullivan's book so far!! We follow two storylines in this book, one is Handrain and Royce's and the other is Gwen's. There two storylines interweave perfectly and both are so interesting. In Gwen's storyline, we get to understand her more, since in Riyria Revelations we didn't really know her. The more I read about her, the more I like her. Being a tough, brave and clever woman, she not only brought herself out of misery but also her friends. And in Handrian and Royce's storyline, it is so nice and intriguing to see how Handrain and Royce get to know each other. I love the way they quarreled, the way they tried to kill each other but decided against it, the way they finally accept each other and cooperated finally. I'm really grateful that Michael J. Sullivan decided to go back to Riyria world.

Great book with lots of plot building information...it was good enough to read the next in the series.

    The crown tower

Seems too short, a quick read that is fine, not worth 10bucks really. Love the series though.
