    Entertaining

A family of rough and rugged SEAL's - yes please! Jackie Ashenden kicks off a news series featuring the Tate Brothers. All three are SEAL's and have returned home after the death of their father. The oldest Sullivan/ Van is not only charged with keeping the family business going but protecting their foster sister Chloe from their father's enemies. The later is easier said than done since Chloe is not the least bit cooperative but as secrets come to light and truths are found out it becomes apparent the dangers are very real. As Van and Chloe spend more and more time together, their forbidden attraction becomes stronger. This story is very well done and of course the writing is outstanding. The story isn't one of my favorites but I did find it very entertaining and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Looking forward to the next book.

Though this is another foster brother/sister situation Sullivan "Van" Tate doesn't have the same hesitation as Gideon in "Sin for me". His focus is fixed on the completion of his "mission" and getting back to his life in the military. He's willing to do whatever is needed to keep Chloe safe and make her feel secure. But what he doesn't realize is that she's been under his skin all this time and he has been subconsciously ignoring his true feelings. But with the death of their father, many truths are uncovered and lies are revealed. He finds that his feelings towards his father are quite similar to how Chloe feels and with this common ground he soon figures out that Chloe completes him in a way that nothing ever has. This series also crosses over with the Billionaire Fairytales series and the De Santis characters. I found this really interesting and look forward to seeing how this plays out. I received an Advanced Reader's Copy from NetGalley for voluntary review consideration.

    dissapointed

The dangerous billionaire is another story in the series but it was the least favorite. The writing was sufficient, character interesting well develop. But for me it was too many and too much of repeating things, memories feelings thoughts over and over and over again. It was too much if it wasn’t for excellent describing passion like Jacki masters I would be totally disappointed. Chloe and Van did not impressed me but like I said it if wasn’t for their explosive chemistry…. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

    Billionaire Romance

The Dangerous Billionaire by Jackie Ashenden Tate Brothers #1 Noah Tate needed to ensure the future of his company and without a biological male heir he decided to adopt three young boys to be his sons. Each of those young men eventually became SEALs and men to be reckoned with. Well, when Noah dies his sons are each given a letter that will changed their lives – or so it would seem from book one. Van is tasked with keeping his foster sister, Chloe, safe. This is no easy task even when he brings her to stay with him in New York. With an enemy to stymie, chemistry to avoid acting upon and baggage from their pasts to contend with this book is fraught with trouble…and a few steamy encounters. I enjoyed the eventual ending of this book and look forward to reading the stories of Lucas and Wolf, Van’s brothers, when they are released. Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC – This is my honest review. 4 Stars

    Good Read

3-5 stars 'The Dangerous Billionaire' by Jackie Ashenden is book One in the "Tate Brothers" series. This is the story of Sullivan “Van" and Chloe. Van has been left in charge of the family and the family business. Chole, Van, and two other brothers were the foster child of Noah Tate. Noah Tate is down dead leaving most everything to Van. Chole who ran the family ranch is somewhat upset that her foster father didn't leave the ranch to her. When she is summons by Van to come to NYC she goes to try to convince him to leave her the ranch. Van and his brothers are Navy Seals who have no desire to be businessmen but they have a great sense of honor to their foster father Noah. So they settle in to do as their foster father asked. Van feels that Chole is possible in danger and he plans to keep her safe. "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
