    Pretty good!

A very bleak, yet engaging work! Full of twists and turns and ends with a huge bridge to the second book. The only issue k might see is that the prose takes a while to get used to and that it's sometimes confusing. I still recommend it to everyone looking for a unique fantasy.

    THE GUNSLINGER

The first book in King's epic Dark Tower series. As usual SK doesn't disappoint. It is beautifully written; the language and style of speech of some of the characters (title character, especially) is unique and a pleasure to read!! Introduction to the ka-tet and the beginning of a wonderful relationship.

    great story

A wonderful blend of science fiction, post apocalypse with a strong dash of the supernatural, wrapped up in a western package. It's easy to see the influence that this work has had on so much that has come after it. Although confusing at times, I very much enjoyed the story and the characters. Looking forward to the next installment of the series.
