Another great book by Stephen King.

This was a great book. It's unlike the horror books he's written but still kept me drawn to read it. I'm looking forward to the 3rd book

    Complex Characters

I went in not knowing what to expect, and it was not this! That said, it was unique and complex, and I found it quite interesting. The moved quite linear, though the addition of new characters and the complications they brought from their past lives didn't make Roland's life any easier. The character arcs for Odetta/Detta and Eddie Dean. They are tragic characters and their actions made them fascinating to watch. Roland took them on terrifying adventures and the threat level rose with each chapter, especially at the end. Stephen King's writing is truly bizarre, but I am still engaged and want to see where the story goes from here!

    4 stars

Book 2 of an amazing journey into mid-world, and some of the most memorable characters I can recall. The Drawing Of The Three introduces us to the rest of the main ka-tet; Eddie, Susanna and the return of Jake. Each character has an epic buildup of their own, and it might be SK's strongest written installment of the saga.
