    Pretty good

It’s entertaining. Took me a year to finish it. Had moments that slowed enough for me to lose interest a few mo this but the characters are iconic to the end. Bless oy

    Surprising Read

Let it never be said that Stephen King doesn't know how to reinvent and surprise readers! When I started this book the last thing I expected was for it to be a Shakespearean-style romance. It's a story within a story, and the majority of the book takes place in Roland's youth, following his great love and their tragic story. I didn't expect this, but it turned out to be one of my favourite books in the series for that reason. The star-crossed romance was both sweeping and heartbreaking with its twists and surprises. I truly enjoyed the look into Roland's bright-eyed past and how much he'd changed after it. I had a great time reading side characters like Alain, Cuthbert, and Sheemie. The villains were wicked, and the relationships that formed between them were complex and added to the danger. There were explosive action scenes and drama and betrayals everywhere. Among the books so far, this has been my favourite. I loved the story and am excited to see where it goes from here!

    My favorite thus far

Wizard and glass is definitely my favorite of the four dark Tower books - at least for now!

    5 stars

Whenever I recommend the Dark Tower saga to people, this installment is the reason why. My favorite installment of The Dark Tower Saga, seeing Roland's tragic trials really moved me. I never warmed up to Roland in the earlier books, but this book won me over and he's one of my all-time favorite literary characters now.
