    The day after Oblivion

Really liked it full escription of the daily "littlee things" that make up daily living. Was cherring on the sub& destroyer to survive. Belivable story could happen

Dont waste your cash on this one

Total rubbish..the author really needs to hone up on his facts regarding a nuclear exchange to have the reader believe that radioactive decay is after a few days is a joke, no mention of the huge amounts of fallout that would ensue...it all hangs in the upper atmosphere really? the sub and Chinese engagement is fact poor at best...no sub would engage at the distance described and poorly written. Overall save your money on an author who can write a storyline that is true to facts a bit more.

    Definitely NOT a pleasant read.

I purchase this one, and his two earlier ones, as quick reads. If you've read one Washburn, you've read them all; they are utterly formulaic, but nonetheless "page-turning" in nature. However, I'm finding this one particularly nasty in character, with floods of paranoia, xenophobia, and the philosophy that guns are the solution to all problems: very American! This will be my last Washburn; enough is too much.

Excellent read, very thought provoking. All Tim Washburn’s books are gripping reads!
