  • Stories from modern Japan

Well put together and written story set in Tokyo. It continues from Daydreamer Detective. This book appealed to me first of all because of the setting in modern Japan as we have a son, daughter-in-law and “hafu” grandson settled there and follow their lives and visit them when we can. The story is based around a single young woman who has lost her office job and returned to live with mother on the family farm. .

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • It’s cute!

I loved how I could picture Chickasaw through the book. Mei is fun, and the other characters are really nice. Mrs. Murata was relatable as I have a feisty grandma. I enjoyed the story and how the characters grew.
